Happy to share that I got featured in the Loksatta Newspaper. An 18-year-old youth from Uttar Pradesh suffered liver problems since childhood. The blood vessels leading from Akash’s liver to the heart were blocked. His Liver Bypass (TIPSS procedure) was successful through the teamwork of Gastroenterology and Interventional Radiology experts. The procedure was performed through an incision or hole in the neck without any major surgery. The patient has fully recovered after this surgery.
